One of the frequent candidates for IT outsourcing is the SAP HR component. The expenditures for the maintenance of a HR system can barely be afforded by middle and small-sized companies. While the FI and CO components remain in-house, large outsourcing service providers take over the maintenance of the HR- modules. The challenge in the coupling of the decentralized  HR modules consists in the fact that, the financial accounting department would reluctantly want to take over the ALE-coupling with the HR- module.
